Organised by the European Sustainable Food Coalition (ESFC), this online event addressed the urgent need for harmonised, reliable impact assessment methodologies in the food and beverage (F&B) sector.
The discussion brought together insights from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment and Joint Research Centre (DG ENV/JRC), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and the European Sustainable Food Coalition (ESFC). Together, these institutions shared recent research, coordination strategies, and frameworks that support robust, science-based assessments to guide both business decisions and policy implementation.
