We at inoqo strongly believe that our daily habits can change the world. Our food systems are responsible for over a third of all GHG emitted worldwide, however the majority of companies do not provide consumers with the transparency needed to make better-informed decisions when grocery shopping. In a world of over- and misinformation, inoqo provides retailers, brands, and their consumers with scientific data on the environmental, social, and biodiversity impacts of their grocery products.Founded in 2020, inoqo is a Retail Solution which enables grocery retailers, Food and Beverage (F&B) brands and suppliers to calculate the socio-environmental impact of their products and ingredients, subsequently helping them optimize their assortment. We also assist with communicating the results of the assessment to the customer. This is done through labels that convey the products’ environmental impact through an easy-to-understand grading system. This approach appeals to the increasing number of sustainability-conscious consumers, while also  helping less sustainability-conscious customers easily transition towards a healthier and more sustainable diet. Our approach provides the complete transparency that will be demanded from businesses in the future.
