Both are largely fueled by non-sustainable production and consumption. On the positive side, we are observing an increase in eco-conscious consumers as well as sustainable producers. A challenge to tackle lies in the lack of information, trust and connection between those two groups.Our team of highly motivated, entrepreneurial minds has come together to build a purposeful product and address both climate and biodiversity crises. We are building an app for sustainable consumption and help consumers find products which match their priorities. Learn more at In order to turn our vision into reality we are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x) to join us on a full time basis either at our HQs in Vienna, Austria or remotely.


+ You will build a global market leader with a strong underlying business-model and an app with millions of customers daily from scratch +You will leave your legacy footprint in helping to overcome our planet’s most pressing challenges

+ You will massively contribute to building the technical foundation for our products, with scalability and growth over many years in mind
+ You work with our modern tech stack (Amazon WebServices, SQL, ElasticSearch, Python) to build fast, stable, and scalable backend services
+ You develop the product according to the company’s vision and goals, in close collaboration with business and product owners
+ You engage with users, customers, partners, sales and support to gather feedback and ideas for the development of our products and future enhancements
+ You build architectures and write code that is able to fulfill the needs of our users and own it from idea over development to operations
+ You run tests, deploy releases, and own the running application and understand how it behaves “in the wild”
+ You take all technical decisions that it needs to move forward quickly


+ You hold a university degree in computer science, engineering or a related subject and have several years of experience working as a software engineer.
+ You have a proven track record in building scalable cloud architectures and you are highly familiar with databases, caching techniques and API design
+You are proficient in modern backend languages that help you translate problems into solutions quickly
+ Ideally, you have some experience with frontend development based on modern languages like TypeScript and frameworks like Vue or ReactAs a big plus, you have experience with mobile app development (native or cross-platform/browser-based) and have deployed apps into respective market placesYou like to find solutions rather than problems and have demonstrated your advanced analytical thinking capacities by making product decisions based on data and A/B testing
+ You are eager to improve the status quo, are exceptionally self-motivated, hands on and most of all fun to work with 😊
+ Ideally you are interested in sustainability, conscious consumerism and biodiversityYou are fluent in spoken and written English, German is a plus but not a must

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 3.139 gross per month (x14). However, we appreciate your expertise and skills and will be discussing your final salary together depending on your experience.
